Using a Volumetric Filler for Sauce Trays

The Multi-Fill MPFSC-120 volumetric filler is a revolutionary way to fill sauce trays. Read on for more info on the filler and watch the video below

What are Sauce Trays?

Sauce trays are convenient packaging for sauces, dips, and other side dishes. These trays are often packaged in the form of plastic or paper trays that are round. The sauce can also be packaged in sachets. Some of these trays can be served with food or come sold separately such as cream sauces or sauces for platters.

How is a Volumetric Filler Used to Deposit Food Into Sauce Trays?

A volumetric filler helps operators to deposit an amount of food into packing trays. Packaging food and sauces into sauce trays by hand can take time and labor costs. A volumetric filler machine makes food distribution easier as it distributes adequate amounts of sauce into trays into their packaging both swiftly and effortlessly.

The Multi-Fill
MPFSC-120 volumetric filler is an example of quick automatic feeding. The machines can fill up to 120 containers per minute (depending on the configuration). The MPFSC-120 is designed to handle stickier products and large volumes needed for sauce trays.

Example of Food That is Deposited: Chopped Kale

Chopped kale is often used for kale salads and creamy kale sauces. The kale is freshly chopped before being added to sauce dishes. Like most cut vegetables, kale needs to be packed away into quality packaging as soon as possible to retain freshness. The Multi-Fill MPFSC-120 volumetric filler makes this possible as it provides quick automated filling of kale into trays so that they can be packed and stored away for freshness.
