How fast can salads be packaged by filling machines

The popularity of prepared salads and ready-made food is at an all-time high. But how fast can prepared salads be packaged? Of course, this depends on the type of salad and filling machine that you are investing in. However, there are certain factors that business owners must consider before choosing the right machine for their salad packaging needs. Read on to find out more from Multi-Fill.

Packaging speed

Understanding your packaging needs can help you determine what kind of volumetric filling machine you need, based on its capacity and packaging speed. At Multi-Fill, we have 3 types of volumetric fillers that have a range of production speeds:

  1. MPFMP-060: This filling machine can package up to 50 to 60 containers in a minute, depending on operator skill and capability.
  2. MPFSH-075: This filling machine has a capacity of packaging 60 to 75 containers per minute.
  3. MPFSC-120: This high-capacity filling machine can package up to 120 containers in a minute.

Maintaining product integrity

Nothing can be more off-putting than being hungry, buying a yummy-looking salad, and finding that it is soggy or torn up badly. When salads are packed at the speeds mentioned above, it is essential that the filling machine is designed to maintain product integrity as well as appearance.

At Multi-Fill, we have invested in extensive R&D and design to ensure our filling machines are built to improve the efficiency of the entire packaging process.

Reliability

Every business has different needs and we are able to customize our solutions according to them. As mentioned, we offer three reliable volumetric filling machines. However, we also have the expertise to customize or upgrade these as per your business needs.
